Switch between cameras easily
With Pro Animate, connecting and switching between multiple cameras is easy. Simply plug your camera in; DV Camera, Webcam or Canon DSLR and it will appear in the camera list. To switch between them just click on the camera in the list to begin capturing frames from that device.
Advanced Chroma key technology
Pro Animate includes the very latest technology for working with chroma key, and now includes the ability to add despill and blur to help add a real touch of realism to backgrounds. In addition to this, there is also the choice of being able to add either a digital image or movie as a background file, and all with a few quick clicks!
Audio Syncing
Pro Animate makes adding sound to your animation fast and effortless. Sound files can be imported directly into your Movie and placed onto the audio time line. This allows you to preview how your movie and audio will be in the finished movie.
Rotoscoping
The rotoscoping feature in Pro Animate will enable an animation to be synced to a movie in the background.
Drawing Tools
Got a hand in the shot? Or need to draw out a stand holding up an object? In Pro Animate, a range of drawing tools allow you to draw around objects you no longer want in the frame and colour it any colour you choose, or the same as the chroma screen to then allow you to use the chroma key feature to replace this with a still or moving background.
Multi-level onion skinning
Pro Animate allows multiple frames to be selected to Onion Skin from, up to five including the live view. What’s more, these frames can also be animated to show how the movement will look in the movie. Perfect for filming those detailed hand waves or intricate movements!
Real time frame averaging
With real time frame averaging, Pro Animate ensures that as much noise as possible is removed from captured images. Averaging can be done at 2,3 or 4 frames. Reducing noise in frames also helps to reduce individual frame size, leading to a smaller file size overall.
Duplicate, Paste & Reverse Frames Easily
Pro Animate has sophisticated duplication features which allow either single frames or blocks of frame to be selected and duplicated and then inserted into the movie as either a single or block of frames – they can even be reversed to help you save time in filming actions such as a hand wave.
Motion blur
Motion blur allows you to give your movie a more realistic feeling of movement by blurring the background image slightly, and all at the click of a mouse!

Pro Animate is designed for Mac OS X 10.5 or above. Other requirements are as follows:
